Annette Hamilton and Ryta Zmuro provide a unique blend of harmonized singing. Seasoned performers, they pride themselves on giving a very professional and polished service to their clients. Singing unaccompanied is their speciality, where the voices become the orchestra. So no need for extra instruments, they can provide music for the entire ceremony and perform anywhere at your venue. Their classical songs are the most requested, but the duo can perform a variety of music to suit all tastes. Annette & Ryta can also be hired as soloists. Should you wish to book either one of them, they would be happy to oblige, liaising with the musicians of your choice.

ANNETTE HAMILTON (Soprano)
Annette is an experienced singer, who holds Fellowships and Licentiates from Trinity College and Royal Schools, London, as well as a Performers Diploma in Opera from UCT College of Music. She has been involved in many stage productions, acting, singing, dancing and directing for The Baxter Theatre and Artscape. Her own musical shows have been staged at Arts festivals and venues throughout the Peninsula. Annette has sung as a soloist with orchestras and bands and has a versatile voice that can meet the demands of various styles of music. She has performed at many corporate functions and weddings with other musicians. She directs a 12 piece A Cappella singing ensemble, MOSAIC, who perform carols during the festive season at hotels/shopping malls. Annette currently teaches singing and music theory to many talented singers from her home in Rosebank. She partnered up with Ryta Zmuro to form Vo Cappella and the 2 singers have wowed audiences with their truly beautiful vocal style.
RYTA ZMURO (Mezzo Soprano)
Born in England of Polish parents, Ryta holds a degree in music B.Mus (Ed) from the University of Cape Town. She started her career as Music/English teacher In Mmabatho and then worked in Pretoria as a chorister for PACT Opera. She returned to teaching in Cape Town whilst pursuing further singing studies and performances with Wendy Fine’s Opera Studio. She has been a soloist for the Cape Town Gilbert and Sullivan society and Festival Players in many of their productions and has adjudicated Cape Town and West Boland Vocal Eisteddfods. Ryta has taught voice for the UCT College of Music, CAPA and The Rainbow Room Academy. She is currently on the ad hoc teaching staff at the University of the Western Cape’s Centre for the Performing Arts and continues to teach privately. A founder member of the MOSAIC singing ensemble, she has been singing partners with Annette Hamilton for the last 15 years. She continues to enjoy the challenge of self-employed freelance work.
